David Montoya
OF COUNSEL
After a distinguished academic and research career in the field of Labor and Social Security Law, David Montoya Medina serves as a Full Professor at the University of Alicante and as an arbitrator for the Labor Arbitration Tribunal of the Valencian Community. His areas of expertise include the legal regulation of subcontracted labor, termination of executive employment contracts, labor protection for chronically ill workers, and disciplinary sanction disputes, among others.
As the author of several legal monographs and edited volumes, Professor Montoya has made significant contributions to the doctrinal development of Labor Law, with a particular focus on individual and collective labor relations, Social Security, Labor Procedural Law, and European Social Law. He has been a guest speaker and director at numerous national and international conferences, and has conducted research stays at prestigious institutions such as the University of Cambridge, the Max Planck Institute in Munich, and the Benjamin Cardozo School of Law in New York.
