HORACIO JOSÉ ALONSO VIDAL

As of counsel and head of the regulatory and urban planning law department at Devesa, Horacio Alonso combines the practice of law with university teaching. 

He has extensive experience in the defence of all kinds of matters before the contentious-administrative jurisdiction, in which he has acted as an appointed lawyer for various local entities and public companies, as well as advising on the drafting of all kinds of urban planning and management instruments. 

Curriculum Vitae
  • Degree in Law and Doctorate in Law at the University of Alicante. 
  • Diploma in Urban Planning from the University of Valencia and Expert in Public Contracting from the University of Deusto. 
  • Member of the Alicante Bar Association since 2003.
  • Partner (2010-2020) and of counsel at Devesa (January 2021-present).
  • Associate lecturer at the University of Alicante since 2018 and collaborating lecturer at the Universidad Oberta de Catalunya since 2021. 
  • Author of the monograph “Derecho administrativo y teoría del derecho“, Palestra (2019).
